Who We Are

How it all started:

In 2011, a family business called First Class Marble & Granite was established by Leo and Angelica. Leo, with the help of one assistant, handled all the field and shop work while Angelica ran the office. They initially rented a single bay in an industrial building in Franklin, MA, equipped with a pickup truck and basic tools. In 2012, their first son was born and they expanded their business by acquiring a showroom in Newton. These new steps motivated them to put in all their effort to ensure the success of both their business and family.

Over the years, First Class Marble & Granite has experienced tremendous growth as a family-run business. With the addition of more employees and equipment, they have expanded their operations while also welcoming three more sons into their family. In 2017, the company accomplished a major milestone with the acquisition of their main location at 60 Earls Way in Franklin, MA – this was a significant turning point that led to their success today. Today, the company has become digitally advanced, using laser templating and CNC saws and router machines. They operate with two template technicians, five installation crews, 18+ shop and warehouse employees, 10+ office employees, and all four Dos Santos boys.

We work with honesty first, no matter what. We have grown to be a company known for high-end stonework, which is great, but it does come with a new level of responsibility in-regards to executing the project according to plan. We work with many designers, architects, contractors, and kitchen & bath dealers; all who bring us new challenges and possibilities. Every time we’re asked if we can do a project, I always stop and think to myself, with God all things are possible.” - Angelica.
